Let It Snow?

SNOW! It might not be here to stay, but we need to still come prepared. So, with that being said, please start sending boots, snowpants (when there is snow on the ground or if your child prefers to wear them), hat, gloves and winter jacket. If you are having a hard time finding any of these items, please let me know asap.

Snacks:
On Mondays we do not have fruit/veggie cart. We have a snack drawer that is quickly running out. On average, I hand out around 12 snacks each Monday. If you can, please send a box of snacks to share with the class. They can be individually wrapped already, or it can just be a box and I will put them into baggies. Thank you!

Community:
We are wrapping our community project. We have learned about what it takes to build a community, the types of community members who live there, and the businesses that make up a small town community. We learned about the local government and even voted to not approve the building of a shopping center.

Timelines were another part of our community project. They turned out so cute! I love seeing all the kids as cute, chubby babies!

Turkey Alert!

Our Turkey in Disguise projects are due tomorrow. Here are some sneaky Turkeys that have already shown up.

Finally, we had so much fun at our fall festival. So much fun in fact I forgot to take any pictures. We hung out together, watched a movie, ate snacks and created silly monsters. One of the students asked why I didn't send anything home for parents to help out. I told them it was what happened when a teacher forgets until the day before. So... if you wanted to help out, don't worry there will be other opportunities.
We did have Clark Kent stop by to say hello. My hubs is such a good sport especially when it comes to the kids.
